The Sandro Morrison Coat is one of my favorite coats for several reasons and I think it is well worth the investment.
Great Coat for Every Outfit
First, I like the coat because it is simple and can be worn with almost anything. If a coat is multicolored or has embellishments on it then sometimes it doesn’t look good if you are wearing something with more personality underneath. It is also hard to accessorize with a coat that already has “extras”. The Morrison Coat by Sandro is just one color and doesn’t have any embellishments or items to distract which makes it very easy to wear with any of your winter outfits and easy to pair winter accessories with like scarves and gloves. Even though it is relatively plain in style, it does come in bright and pretty colors, red and pink, so it isn’t dreadfully boring like a plain black coat.
Another reason that I like the Sandro Morrison Coat is that it has great pockets. I am the kind of person who doesn’t always carry my purse around so I need to have pockets in my coats and jackets so that I have somewhere to put my keys, etc. The pockets on this coat are large and deep so they can hold a few small items without any problem. Big pockets are also important in case you are not wearing gloves and you need somewhere to keep your hands warm. After all, we have to be able to use our phones, even in winter!
A third reason that I like the Sandro Morrison Coat is that it has a removable belt so that you can wear it cinched if you want to accentuate your waist or loose if you do not. Sometimes, I’m feeling good about my figure and I want to show off my curves so wearing the belt gives me that option. On other days, if I’m wearing a bulky sweater or going for a more casual look like in the featured picture above then I leave the coat unbelted and falling loose. This gives the coat a more casual look or doesn’t bring attention to the bulky clothing that I am wearing underneath.
A Good Investment
A coat like this one with classic lines and style will last you for years and years. Even though the cost of the Sandro MOrrison coat might seem high at first, if you think about it as a multi year investment, then it is actually really reasonable.
